I rode the ridge a couple times when I lived down there. Once with 1/2 bald tires (not a good idea) and 2 or 3 times after I got the 'new shoes.' What a difference! It's a great technical trail and really worth the ride sometime. It's one of those trails that if you are with a group it's makes for great pictures and a great way to advance your riding skills quickly.

Sounds like it was a good time, I was busy working on my sons new (actually an 86) quad all day. Let me know when you guys are riding there again...this weekend maybe???
WB-your description sounds familiar, did you used to ride Michaux 2 up with a young boy along? Might have been someone else.

Looks good! The video doesn't really give the ridge any justice but i really like the way that came together!

I should redo it because when I made that I was stuck with windows movie maker. I might redo that one soon with more video. anyone up for it? I might be up for another sunday ride this weekend depending on the weather this week. might be bad up there for the ridge. the first time I did graves ridge I was scared to death. this last time with skip I was really relaxed. two spots I got hung up good but skip sat on the front rack and kept the front down. it really is fun but is better to do with a group of people that can spot ya at the tuff spots.

Hooligan, I've only been riding the atv for a year, and I've never hauled a child. Must have been someone else. However, I did RIDE my mtn bike across Graves Ridge and most of the other trails. That was back in the 80's n 90's, and the trails were not torn up as much. Still it was nice tecnical riding. wb

Skip, I was at Big Flat at 10 30. Didn't see anyone so I took a quick ride down to 233 and back and still no one there, so I went out on my own. Rode 27 miles on the blues and greens. Wanted to do Grave Ridge, but decided better not do it on alone. When I got back to Big Flat, I saw a blue Excursion with trailer, and a Ford with ramps. Was that you guys? If so, sorry I missed you. I was driving the Toyota Tacoma parked near the dock. Let my know if you want to ride my trails some Sunday in the near future. wb That Excursion and Ford with Ramps was us. Sorry Wild Bill
